Walter Piotrowski, 87, of Quinnipiac Avenue passed away peacefully at Connecticut Hospice in
Branford on Tuesday December 20, 2011. Walter was born in Stanislawow, Poland on August
29, 1924. He was employed at Textron in Stratford as a Tank Inspector for many years until his
retirement.
Walter is the brother of Maria Szczepanski of the Czech Republic and the late Helena Cieslarowa and Jozef Wolny. He is also survived by his niece and nephew of the Czech Republic and his good friend Beverly DeGraaf.
His funeral will leave the LUPINSKI FUNERAL HOME 821 State Street FRIDAY morning at 9:00 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rose of Lima Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. Family and friends may call on FRIDAY morning from 8:00 until 9:00 prior to services. Memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford, CT 06405.

While it's been many, many years since I'd had interaction with Walter, I'll always remember him as a neighbor with a smile and many a kind word. Not to mention, always having a shot of Polish vodka ready to share!! Godspeed Walter.
